Hopefully you can take one of my ideas and create value where none existed before. Whatever your interest... marketing, biz opps, making money from home, promotion, business ideas, concepts, over-the-top antics, business opportunities... you'll find it all right here.

My neigbor bought a Segway two years ago. He used it for a week. Ever since it's just been collecting cobwebs in his garage.

Hi Ankesh,

That's a splendid off shoot of the Segway rental idea. You could even approach courses before you actually make the purchase to get their approval to do the idea. That way, you're not out any money if you can't find a course to take you up on the offer.

You would have to position it so they don't lose any of their existing cart rental business. In other words, they would make the same regardless if someone chose the cart or Segway (or more than the cart rental gross, of course.)

Grand plan, my man!

Thanks Dan for posting a great idea.

Some one is doing something related. A country club in Sedona, Arizona rents segway as golf carts. And its a big hit. Many people rent segways while playing golf - earning the country club about $50-70+ or so per segway per day (pays for a brand new segway in less than a 3 months!).

What if some one made an options deal to buy segways in bulk and then went to golf courses and rented the segways out to them?

It could become a very profitable business without a lot of management.
