I can definitely "hear" or more like "feel in my ears" something that correlates to pre-seismic events. But as it relates to the time before or distance... that's an unknown quantity. I could be feeling something (when I do get the sensation) that is definitely seismic, but is just plate slippage that does NOT end up in violent rupture at the surface and other times, it does. So, unfortunately, there's no way to do a straight forward correlation. But I do think the stronger the sensation, the more likely there will be a surface rupture to follow.
